211--College Physics I, Wednesdays 3:00p-5:00p and 5:00p-7:00p
A link to the syllabus for my sections of 211 lab will be provided as soon as I have a syllabus to upload.
Research
This
summer (2004) I worked on a two-dimensional system of
particles experiencing electrostatic repulsions and dipole-dipole interactions.
I have a PowerPoint presentation available upon request. This fall, I’m doing exactly the same thing for my senior project
although I’m refining our existing data pool and hope to do some further
work with dipole interactions.
Interests
At
this point, all I can say is that I’m ready to
be done with school for a while. I would like to get a graduate degree, but I don’t know what I’d do. I’m
considering a masters in mechanical engineering, or a masters in computational
physics – either one can get me a job.
Other/About Me
Well,
I’m in my fifth year of undergraduate study, and
I should be getting my B.S. next May. Almost all of my friends have graduated
on moved on to grad school. They’ve
placed in UM-Twin Cities, MSU, UT-Knoxville, Texas
A&M, and UNC – so maybe there’s a chance for me out there,
somewhere, too.
